As I prepared to share my blessings in today’s post, I couldn’t help but look back at some of the ways God gave us to be blessed. His list looks a little different from mine.
Walk humbly.
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
Matthew 5:3
Repent for sin.
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.”
Matthew 5:4
Demonstrate meekness.
“Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.”
Matthew 5:5
Live righteously.
“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.”
Matthew 5:6
Show mercy.
“Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.”
Matthew 5:7
Be pure in heart.
“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.”
Matthew 5:8
Be a peacemaker.
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.”
Matthew 5:9
Be willing to suffer for what is right.
“Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.”
Matthew 5:10-11
Rejoice.
“Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”
Matthew 5:12
Lord,
Thank you for the promise of blessings when I am willing to be obedient to Your Word. Give me a desire to please You above everything else today. Thank you for the blessings You’ve poured out on my behalf, both the ones I am aware of, and those I may have missed. Remind me of these truths today, that I may bless You with a heart that conforms to Your commands.

#1230. God gave her the courage to resolve things biblically.

#1232. Real life relationships and time face to face.
#1233. New discoveries in Genesis.
#1234. Dinner with our favorite family.
#1235. A growing relationship – marriage.
#1236. He’s home for the first time in 2 months.
#1237. Dinner and games – all together as a family.
#1238. How I’ve missed his humor.
#1239. Maturity.
#1240. Air to breathe.
#1241. Fellowship at the grocery store – unplanned meetings with BFF’s that satisfy the soul – MDG
#1242. His grateful spirit.
#1243. Truth from the pulpit.
#1244. Family Sundays.
#1245. Clean socks.
#1246. Nursery and the babies we care for.
#1248. He gave me clarity…
