“So repent (change your mind and purpose); turn around and return [to God], that your sins may be erased (blotted out, wiped clean) that times of refreshing ( of recovering from the effects of heat, of reviving with fresh air) may come from the presence of The Lord; and that He may send [to you] the Christ (the Messiah) who before was designated and appointed for you – even Jesus.”
Acts 3:19-20 (Amplified)
It’s no secret. I love words, and more especially, I love the Word. It has literally transformed my life.
How did that transformation begin? What did it take for me to discover a real walk with God, as opposed to the double mindedness I’d been accustomed to living even after I heard the gospel?
My rebirth in Christ began here, with today’s word:
By the power of His Holy Spirit, God changed my mind about my life and sin, and He changed my purpose, too. Now my life is about Jesus. He leads me along a path that’s headed toward an eternal destiny, and if you’re standing in the middle of a mess today, He wants you to turn, too.
Lord,
Thank you for the gift of repentance, and for your kindness that led me to see that I am a sinner in need of saving. Thank you for Jesus, who washes away all my sin, both past and present, and makes me white as snow.
In Jesus Name
