I Am

  
I am a child of God.

In fact, God tells me in so many ways who I am. I am chosen, hand picked, holy and dearly loved. I am His child, and He is my Father. I am a child of light and not of darkness. I am a part of Him, and I share in His life. He is not ashamed to call me His own.

I am acceptable, forgiven and more than enough. I am the salt of the earth, the light of this world, a branch of the true vine, a friend of God and His personal witness. I am coheir with Christ, a temple for Him to dwell in, a part of His body and joined with Him forever. 

I am a new person, alive in Christ, raised up, rescued, redeemed, justified, and seated with Him. I am firmly rooted and built up in Him, spiritually clean, saved and set apart. My old self was crucified with Christ, set free, and is no longer a slave to sin. 

As you can see, I am a lot of things. I am not the Great I Am, but by the grace of God, I know whose I am.
