God’s love for you and I is a perfect place for us to look and find today’s prayer. Although the Bible talks about brotherly love and the kind of love we should have in marriage, it’s the love that God has for us that surpasses them all. His love made a way for us to be reconciled to Him, and have eternal life.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believe in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8
God’s love reaches beyond our circumstances and our sin. It never fails and never runs out. Do you know His love today?
Father,
You are love. I pray that every heart that sees this post today would know the measure of Your great love for them. Regardless of their sin and their circumstances, I pray they would know that You love them unconditionally, and that Your love is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Thank You that there is nothing that we can do to make You love us any less and nothing we can do to make You love us any more. I pray that those who are struggling with this understanding would come to know You in greater measure each and every day.
