“We tend to use prayer as a last resort, but God wants it to be our first line of defense. We pray when there’s nothing else we can do, but God wants us to pray before we do anything at all.
Most of us would prefer, however, to spend our time doing something that will get immediate results. We don’t want to wait for God to resolve matters in His good time because His idea of ‘good time’ is seldom in sync with ours.”
Happy SONday friends, and a blessed and wonderful Fathers Day to you, too!
I am so grateful that You called me to be a fellow servant and a laborer together with You. I commit to pray for and not to give up on my husband, my children, my family, my friends, fellow servants and the lost. I come boldly to Your throne, where I receive mercy and find Your grace to help me when I need it. I thank You for the Holy Spirit who intercedes on my behalf, especially when I do not know what to pray. I thank you for helping me to be strong and not grow weary, for holding up my arms when I am overwhelmed and for cradling my heart when I hurt. I believe that whatever I ask You in prayer shall be given to me, according to your good and perfect will, so long as I do not ask amiss. I ask You to bless each Daddy and future Daddy today. Grant him a willing spirit that he might walk according to Your Kingdom plan for his life, whatever that may be. Sanctify him and make him holy and set apart for Your good work. Guide him in Your truth. Strengthen his faith. Keep him in the face of evil and temptation. Help him to walk humbly with you each and every day, in Jesus Name,
