You Are So Loved

Posted on March 15, 2015March 16, 2015 by Danielle

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16

Happy SONday to you friends! May your Sabbath be richly blessed!

Several weeks ago I began doodling in my journal as I meditated on Scripture and prayed for loved ones, and I’m super excited to share my very first canvas drawing (photo above) along with today’s Sunday Scripture.

My Emma pointed out that John 3:16 is a verse I doodle often, and as I meditated on the words again this morning, I realized why.

John 3:16 is one of the most quoted verse in Scripture, but the words mean more to me than some popular Bible verse.

For God so loved…

Me.

You.

The world.

His love is infinite, eternal, and extravagant; the love God has for you and I is so great that He sacrificed His only Son on our behalf.  This Word teaches us that anyone who believes in Jesus Christ, God’s Son, will be saved, and it gives us the glorious hope of eternal life in heaven through the love of God and death of Jesus Christ.

Anyone was me, when I gave Him my heart and surrendered my life to Jesus, and today, I hope that anyone is you, too!

Blessings!

Hey there, thanks for stopping by! My name is Danielle … radically redeemed and wildly loved by a Savior who’s teaching me that real is not perfect. In fact, I am learning that being real is quite messy.
