“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”
2 Corinthians 12:9
I picked up a book today in the clearance section at Lifeway entitled 100 Days of Grace for Women.
The first page that I opened to began with this…
“My grace is sufficient.”
Later in the afternoon, I heard God whisper the same verse…
“My grace is sufficient.”
And tonight, as I sat with Him and wondered over the latest challenge He’s allowed in our lives, I heard it again, this time a little more bold, and a little more pronounced.
“My. Grace. Is. Sufficient.”
It is you know…grace…it’s more than sufficient. In times of sorrow, pain, or loss, God’s grace is sufficient. No matter what it may seem like at the moment, we can trust the sufficient heart of our Lord.
Father,
Thank you for Your Word, and Your promise of comfort, love and grace in our time of need. Help us to see You, and not the circumstances that have been set before us. We know that Your grace is all sufficient to see us through. When we are fearful or tempted to worry, remind us that Your grace is sufficient, and that we can trust You.
